Dakshyani Handicraft does not offer refunds on any purchases. All sales are final once the order is confirmed and payment is processed. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. No Refund Policy
Due to the handcrafted and customized nature of our furniture products, Dakshyani Handicraft maintains a strict no-refund policy. Once an order is placed and payment is received, the transaction is considered final and non-refundable.
2. Why We Don't Offer Refunds
- Handcrafted Products: Each piece is carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans, making them unique and non-returnable.
- Customization: Many products involve customization that cannot be resold.
- Material Investment: Raw materials are procured and production begins immediately upon order confirmation.
- Quality Assurance: We perform thorough quality checks before dispatch to ensure you receive the best product.
3. Before You Purchase
We strongly encourage all customers to:
- Carefully review all product descriptions, specifications, and dimensions
- Examine product images thoroughly
- Contact us with any questions or clarifications before placing an order
- Measure your space to ensure the product will fit
- Understand that handcrafted products may have slight natural variations
4. Order Cancellation
Once an order is placed and payment is confirmed, the order cannot be cancelled. Production of your handcrafted item begins immediately, and materials are allocated specifically for your order.
5. Exceptions
In very limited circumstances, we may consider a refund or replacement at our sole discretion:
- Manufacturing Defects: If the product has a significant manufacturing defect that was not disclosed. This must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
- Wrong Product: If we ship a completely different product than what was ordered (not including natural variations in handcrafted items).
- Severe Transit Damage: If the product is severely damaged during transit beyond usable condition. This must be documented immediately upon delivery with photos and a report to the delivery personnel.
Note: Minor variations in color, texture, grain pattern, or dimensions are inherent to handcrafted products and do not qualify for exceptions.
6. How to Report Issues
If you believe your order qualifies for an exception under the circumstances mentioned above:
- Contact us within 24 hours of delivery
- Provide your order number and detailed description of the issue
- Include clear photographs showing the problem
- Do not dispose of the product or packaging until the matter is resolved
7. Resolution Process
If your claim is accepted, we may offer a repair, replacement, or store credit at our sole discretion. Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances where no other resolution is possible. Any decision made by Dakshyani Handicraft regarding refunds is final.
8. Payment Gateway Issues
If you experience duplicate charges or payment errors due to technical issues with the payment gateway, please contact us immediately. We will investigate and process a refund for any erroneous duplicate charges within 7-10 business days.
