Returns & Exchange Policy

1. No Returns Policy

All products sold by Dakshyani Handicraft are non-returnable. Once an order is delivered, we cannot accept it back for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Change of mind
• Product doesn't match expectations
• Size or dimension issues (please measure before ordering)
• Color variations (natural in handcrafted items)
• Style preferences
• Ordering the wrong item

2. No Exchange Policy

We do not offer exchanges for any products. Each piece is handcrafted specifically for the order, making exchanges impractical. We cannot exchange products for:

• A different product
• A different size
• A different color or finish
• A different design

3. Why This Policy Exists

We maintain this strict policy for the following reasons:

• Handcrafted Nature: Our furniture is handmade by skilled artisans, making each piece unique and created specifically for your order.
• Material Quality: We use premium materials that are cut and shaped according to your order specifications.
• Hygiene and Safety: Furniture that has been used in another home cannot be resold due to hygiene and quality concerns.
• Transit Risks: Multiple shipments increase the risk of damage and add significant costs.
• Sustainability: Reducing returns helps minimize our environmental footprint.

4. Understanding Handcrafted Products

Before purchasing, please understand that handcrafted furniture may have:

• Slight variations in color and shade from product images
• Natural wood grain patterns that differ from piece to piece
• Minor dimensional variations (typically within 5%)
• Unique characteristics that make each piece one-of-a-kind
• Subtle imperfections that are hallmarks of handmade craftsmanship

These characteristics are not defects and do not qualify for returns or exchanges.

6. Damaged or Defective Products

While we don't accept returns or exchanges, we do stand behind our craftsmanship. If you receive a product that is:

• Severely damaged in transit: You must document the damage immediately upon delivery (before the delivery person leaves), take photographs, and contact us within 24 hours.
• Has a significant manufacturing defect: Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photographs. We will assess the situation and determine the appropriate resolution.

Important: Do not discard the packaging or product until the matter is fully resolved.

7. Upon Delivery

When your order is delivered:

1. Inspect the packaging for any visible damage before signing
2. If the packaging is damaged, note it on the delivery receipt
3. Unpack and inspect the product immediately
4. Take photos of any damage or defects
5. Report issues within 24 hours

8. Order Cancellation

Orders cannot be cancelled once placed and payment is confirmed. Production begins immediately upon order confirmation, and materials are allocated for your specific order.
